T cell deficiency

That doctor doesn't sound very helpful. I agree with georgiagirl, it would be a good idea to get a second opinion and to do some research on this. Just because that one doctor doesn't think he can help you doesn't mean you can't be helped. I don't know about you, but I had to go to many doctors and specialists over a period of more than ten years just to get my Lyme diagnosis. If I had listened to some of them, I'd be thinking I had mental problems and a bunch of individual inflammatory conditions instead of knowing what is actually wrong and treating it properly. A friend of mine who had severe knee pain and swelling went to a doctor who told her she had a rare connective tissue disorder. He wanted to do surgery. Thank goodness she did some research and saw another doctor, because it turned out she had Lyme. Good luck to you in finding out what is going on. Don't give up.
