guideline decision delay

Does anyone think that the delayed decision from the new panel is a promising sign?  I think they were suppose to come up with a verdict by the end of 2009.   If they decline to amend the guidelines, what other options does the Lyme community have to change the status quo? 

After watching the hearings I wasn't very optimistic (for one reason or another).  However, I hope that the new panel will set aside the politics and make some necessary changes.

Thanks for posting I have been wondering what was going on. We need this to change so much. I would love to hear if any one has any ideas on how we can better fight this fight. I have written all my goverment people I got to meet with our Attorney State General to tell him my story and he was very nice and said he would do something if the Conneticut Attorney State General did something so would Oregon. Well he was out of that office when it happened and I haven't had any luck getting in touch with the new one.

It is just so frustraiting, I have tested positive for Lyme 8 times and the only Diagnosis I can get in my State is MS. Even after these Drs have watched me get better on Antibiotics I still have to travel to get more antibiotics.
