Yesterday I woke with exstream pain in lowerback and today the pain is in lower right back and hip. With the pain comes depression and the reality that I can't do what I use to do. I use to be so active until I was thrown out of the back of a truck. I guess I should just take the pain meds and deal with it. I posted yesterday and I guess I just am rambiling........the pain just never goes away and i'm so tired of it. If this is the rest of my life well..........what kind of life is it.......

I get down too - but there's hope - you have to have hope! I listen to music (loud rock music), really loud at my desk to keep me going - I dance sitting down too - that and pain meds (and lots of antibiotics).

Nothing like chronic constant long-term pain to make one contemplate the reason for one's existance.... I cannot believe I have spent ten years contemplating.

Sorry to hear about
your pain. I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking about
going to a pain clinic/center. My GP suggested it about
a year ago but I decided against it......but now I feel like I should give it a try. I plan to check it out and see if they have any ideas. The main problem I'm facing is that I will only take meds if they will improve my ability to function (i.e. work). I wish I had some suggestions to give you but I really don't. I've tried accupunture, warm baths, heating pads, etc. The only thing that helped was heavy-duty pain meds (but I only take those if it's absolutely necessary). Good luck. I feel for you.
