if lyme thrives on sugar, then if i fast, wouldn't lyme die?
I can fast for 3 days together - is that good enough to kill lyme? i am fed up of antibiotics and million other supplements.

As someone who has been unable to eat for a week or more at a time due to gastrointestinal issues (from Lyme), take from me that fasting will not kill Lyme. What it does do is reduce your reserve strength, decrease your metabolism, and can lead to a host of other issues.
Theraputic fasting is usually done for a few days, but usually includes plenty of fluids, such as apple juice fasting. My Mom does this once a year to detox - she's found that she doesn't get pneumonia or bronchitis as easily when she fasts once a year.

No, fasting will not kill lyme. Fasting can be good for a short time to clean out your body of toxins and things like that, but for those of us with lyme disease, we need the supplements and nutrition of good food to keep our bodies healthy. If you're thinking about
fasting to kill lyme, sorry it will not work. If it did everyone would be doing it and we'd all be healed.

I have tried fasting. It wears you down and makes it difficult for your body to keep on fighting lyme. Just be careful.
