Sulma,
Praise God that you are getting well!
Can you please explain how much Bentonite clay per day? I assume you take it orally.
Psyllium husk powder. for "sweeping" out the GI tract. All natural, unflavored kind, and you mean this is not Metamucil?
As far as Liver cleansers- (supplements) choline, methionine, artichoke extract. (food) raw beets 2x daily, do you mean all of these listed each day?
Kidney cleanser- vitamin C. For me it was about 8,000mg two times daily.
You mean we need to take 16,000 mg of Vit C per day? Does the brand matter? I have to take chewable because I have a problem swallowing.
Also I don't have a bathtub, just a shower so detox baths are out for me.
I've been doing Dr. J's protocol (hansa) so far no improvements and I continue to grow worse.
It has healed Denise and Gary is doing GREAT on it and I think his wife is also much better.
I am desperate but lacking much money to keep trying expensive things.
Maybe in 3 or 4 months I could save enough for a portable FAR infrared sauna.
I think that with Lyme it's not a one size fits all solution. What works for one won't work for another. I have almost given up a few times because so far nothing has helped me but I keep reaching for a miracle.
Patti, if you feel you need to detox your organs of elimination you need to first clean the GI tract, then the kidneys and liver. The Bentonite works best if you're fasting. 1 teaspoon per 8oz of water, then about
1.5 hours later try 3 rounded tablespoons of fiber in 16oz of water. (Metamucil has artificial flavoring in it that ends up accumulating in your liver) Keep alternating them like that for the remainder of the day. Every other day for about
10 days should clean out your intestinal tract pretty well. (one day eat, next day fast and cleanse) Then start the liver supplements and diet to ensure your liver is producing a full, steady flow of bile and your BM's are coming at least once every 24 hours.
yes I use all those liver cleansers at every meal, every day. As long as you are killing borrelia (and any other infections you are harboring) there is a constant flow of associated toxins accumulating in your liver. By FAR your best way to protect it is to enable it to constantly and thoroughly clean itself with its own bile salts. And like I said your BM's need to be every 24 hours so the toxins secreted in your bile don't reabsorb into your bloodstream. The Vite C is entirely dependant on the person. If you get diarrhea you took more than your body can handle. If your urine is dark yellow and/or if you ever have kidney discomfort, the C will help. Ascorbic acid is by far the cheapest kind, but you want to take it after a full meal to avoid stomach irritation. Definitely do not chew that much ascorbic acid. It will destroy your enamel. I use TwinLab brand. It's cheap and good quality.
Patti borrelia is heat sensitive and oxygen sensitive. Regularly expose it to a lot of both, and it will die. Patti, the baths I mentioned are not detox baths. They are antibiotic baths. Is it not a possibility that perhaps you could use someone else's bath twice weekly? And yes please save that money for the personal sauna. It is a HUGE benefit.
