son now with OCD

sorry I haven't written, been alittle crazy here lately. I would first like to thank everyone for responding and trying to help. Well, update: my son now can't be left alone at home and we're trying to find a place for him to go during the day. We did find an adult day care but of course insurance won't cover it. Also my son has now developed OCD symptons; hand washing constantly, going to the bathroom (even though he doesn't go) and mainly cleansliness issues.

We have now started using a Rife machine, borrowed from a friend of a friend. Been using it for only 1 week now but the person we got it from says it cured him, so we're hopeful. We don't know what else to do, we're doing everything we're told and know to do.

Will try and keep in touch more, thank you for all your thoughts and my prayers go out to all of you as well.  

I was diagnosed by Dr. Ryser in KC in 2007 with late stage Lyme/Bartonella.  I am the mother of two children and have since been treating my teenage son for the Lyme and undiagnosed Babesia (elevated Eosinophil Cationic Protein).  He has OCD bad and is manic and critical and short tempered since taking the Mepron/Azithromycin for 9 months.  He does not take steady doses of his meds, skipping often unlike his younger sister whom we treated some five years prior for her allergies/learning challenges.  She went through detox diet under an immunologist and B12 shots as she was diagnosed on the Autistic spectrum.  She is steadfast in taking her Mepron and has an incredible diet rich in vegies/fruits/fish and fiber.  She has become more verbal, less challenged academically, some moodiness, but overall no OCD.  It is a daily struggle to get him to take his meds knowing that he will have worsening of symptoms, herx, but will get better. 

LymeBean, I would love to know more about the Rife as I do detox on the infrared by sweating, but I have heard that the hyperbaric oxygen is another means to kill the spirochete. I am certain I have the cyst form and got off my Bulouke/CaEdta to kill the biofilm and regressed immediately when my Lyme symptoms ramp up.

This is a battle to figure out what works, to have the patience to endure the treatment and the faith to know you can beat it.

We have been using our GB4000 for over a year now.  Our experience is that when we use it we feel better and when we don't use it the symptoms get worse.  As sick as both of my kids have been and seeing the difference in them when they RIFE regularly and detox regularly vs when they don't makes me feel that the doubters are misinformed and haven't got the same information that I have.  Very similar to MD's who don't understand LD and tell us that we can't be sick because they don't think we are or because they have read things from the IDSA and they choose to believe that over the ILADS info.  If they knew what we knew...

Of course I could be wrong, I am not an expert, I can only tell you what has worked for me and my family.

There is actually another option for detox that you can try for your son, Bentonite clay.  I buy it in a liquid form and we take a tablespoon in the morning and evening.  My youngest is allergic to sulfates so epsom salts are not an option for her.  She puts magnesium chloride in her bath with the hydrogen peroxide and drinks the clay every day.

If you google search CAFL you will get a website that refers to the Consolidated Annotated Frequencies List.  You can get the RIFE machine settings for all of the Borrelia species and the co-infections on that website.  We run a convergence sweep on our machine that covers all of those for an hour at a time, twice a week.  If we RIFE more often than that we get to severe of a herx reaction and can't detox rapidly enough.  We have an IFR sauna that we don't use as much as we should - we mainly detox with the baths and the clay.  My kids also take a supplement called Shilajit, which is an Ayurevedic supplement that is purported to be a chelation agent along with some other health benefits.
