I have known/heard of lymers using the hyperbaric oxygen treatments and it seems the responses have been quite varied----some thought it helped, some did not feel a change for good or bad, and others had a negative reaction.  So, I think it is like every other treatment for this crazy disease----each person reacts differently and all you can do is try it and see what happens. 

I have heard the same thing as you about not using the treatment if one suffers from Babesia, but I can't remember where I learned that or if I was able to discern it's truthfulness.  Sorry.  Best you ask your llmd.
