I know you all get tired of this but i am looking for anyone in my area that has lyme, just to have a xtra sholder to cry on and also to lend a sholder, plus would be nice to get info about doctors in my area... i live in Taylorsville, NC about a hour from Charlotte.

Again sorry to put this in, but would love to hear from someone with lyme that is close by, that we talk and compare doctors etc....

You are looking for what I call a "Lymie Buddy". That's what got me through some really tough times. She & other Lymie friends still help me get through my rougher days! I think everyone with any tick-borne disease should have at least one person to go to!

I don't live any where close to where you live, but would happily exchange emails with you! Just click the button with the envelope on it under my name.

I do hope you either find someone else or take me up on my offer - it really does help to have someone in your life that actually understands what it's like trying to live with these insidious infections!!

There is no Lyme support group in  charlotte-- but i think there's one in winston-- too far for me to travel.  I'd love to chat with you!

The best way to exchange emails would be to go into your profile (click the 'profile' button at the top of the forum & add your email address there. That will allow other members to just click on the envelope that appears under our screen names.
