Hi All,
Whine, whine, whine.
I had a really bad night last night & really feel the need to whine a bit as Hubby's out of state and I can't just whine to him today.

I was filling some capsules last night for Hubby & myself and about 20 minuets after I had finished I broke out in full body hives, complete with welts, as well as emptying out my gastro - from both ends shocked smhair shocked smhair
It was a nasty all nighter!!!

I was only able to sleep for 3 hours last night - due to bathroom trips and the fact that my temp dropped to 96.1 - my norm is 97.4 so this full degree drop had me a-shiverin'!! cry

I got up this am to find out that the hanging my head over the toilet part was so violent that the area around my mouth is all bruised!!! UGH!!! eyes

The last thing I was putting into caps last night was a preparation that our Acu Doc had mixed specifically for him, although she knows that I am the one to fill caps. So I'm pretty sure I know that I had a reactions to something that hubby is taking.

I'm past the worst of it, although I am incredibly weak today. UGH!! I hate this disease!!!

Of course, now I'm running a bit of a fever, so maybe it's from the flu - who the heck knows!! eyes

Hey Traveler,
Are hives a symptom of lyme. I've broke out with them for years, the worst about 3 months ago for a week straight.

Ohhhhh man !  Here I am posting how great I feel and you're feeling so terrible!

Hives are a nightmare!   Years ago I used to get them for no reason at all. They would last for months....then go away for months and then come back.  I guess I just sort of outgrew them or something.  Not related to Lyme in my case.

Bbcoach, I am so sorry to hear that you went through a full week of hives!!
Of course the most common reason for hives is an allergic reaction and can turn into a life-threatening situation quickly. Anyone experiencing hives should get in to see a doc or the e-room right away.

With that being said - hives can be just a sign that your body has had just about all the stress it is going to take. I learned this with my daughter. Any time she gets under too much stress, she goes through what I described.

Being able to attribute hives directly to LD??? I don't know, but as I stated, some of us are blessed to have this reaction to stress as well.

WOW!!! ALL ALONE TOO. It's a drag cause what if you had passed out or worse hit your head passing out.

what the heck was in the caps ???

I'm thinking that I got the flu (the real flu! smhair) , as I am still running a low-grade fever.

The only thing that worries me about passing out is how hard I would hit the ceramic tile floor!!! nono

Oh Traveler,

I am so sorry. I guess it would be a blessing if was the flu (and not a reaction to the capsules). How weird a disease is this that it is a blessing to only have the flu?
