I already had the saliva test done and it showed cortisol among other things. The doc put me on Cortisol which didn't seem to help that much. I tried womentowomen when I first started having hot flashes and it helped greatly. I stopped for quite some time once I was through the worst of it. I started up again, but didn't notice a difference in the way I felt so I stopped. I was on a detox diet thru my doc awhile back and only lost 2# in 2 weeks. That was eating only veggies, fruits, mung beans with no meat, dairy, grains etc. It also had a 2 day fast at the beginning, I thought 2#'s wasn't much to lose. I have tried a strict 1200 cal diet and I still didn't lose any weight. It has gotten to the point if I go out to eat with my husband which he likes to do once a week I gain 1 - 2 pounds and I can't go on this way, otherwise I will be 200# by the end of the year!
Lindaca, I don't eat sugar, only Stevia. I try to eat healthy, no junk food etc. I do like carbs good breads, my oatmeal which I am missing now that I have started this low carb diet. I am just curious to see if it will have any impact on my weight. Very frustrating to say the least.
