The insurance company won't pay for my treatment, any ideas on how to get Invanz plus supplies for less than $106 per day. It has been ordered to go through a eclipse home pump but I am sure I could infuse another way

Suzie, I am looking up this Ivanaz and can't even find much info on it.

Is it considered and antibiotic? what other disease is it used for?

now I am seeing it is newer abx being used with success. I also saw it for osteomyalosis. gonna keep looking around.

How long is the treatment?

Not sure on the length of treatment to be exact, he has put 3-4 months initially. The drugs will be shipped weekly overnight already in the eclipse balls. They will let me know as soon as the insurance decline the charges and then I will have to take it from there, Rocephin is $39 per day, but would rather be on the Invanz.

When insurance declines outright is there no way to get them to pay anything at all? Or, is there like a "out of network" coverage where the receipts can be submitted after the fact--or is it a flat denial, you get nothing, and ins. pays zero? Should be a class action suit against the insurance companies. I'm surprised some shark-lawyer hasn't jumped on this with commercials on Fox.

There is a place in Florida that sells everything for less. I'm not sure if I posted the link in the "New To Lyme?....Start Here!" thread or not. Give me an hour or so to get on my computer and I will find the link. This place is especially for people who have to pay out of pocket.
