I think this topic has been discussed here before, but does anyone here notice symptoms that seem to be going in reverse order during treatment of how they came on in the first place? Strange but I am seeing this effect. My symptoms came on when I first got diagnosed and manifested as a variety of different symptoms that would change over time.now, I have noticed these return and go away in reverse order!

The only thing I can guess that might cause this is, at first, the pathogen and toxin loads are increasing and cause different symptoms as they rise. During treatment, the loads are diminishing and you go back through the same types of symptoms in reverse! Dunno. Just something I notice and others around here have seen similar stuff.

I saw someone post recently about this, and about Hering's law of cure, which says basically the same thing, that we experience our symptoms in reverse as we recover.

I was just thinking this yesterday. I've had the worst stiff neck and headache lately and it so reminded me of the way I used to feel when I had mono and whiplash - neither of which seemed to go away. Made me wonder if I'm reexperiencing old symptoms, which would be great since that was only 3 years after I got sick and it's been 10 years already!

yeah - I had a terrible stiff neck and head pressure back last spring. The stiff neck I thought was because of the way my workstation at work was configured and had that all rearranged. It kept getting worse and changing until I finally got diagnosed on Jun 10 with Lyme. I am getting these symptoms again - usually at night now or when I first wake up....maybe I am getting close to at least an intgerime resolution! But, having had this probably 35 years or more, I don't know yet how the rest will play out. I have a very strong constituion though so am hopeful for full recovery in 2012.

I hope you do recover your health in 2012!! That would be awesome! I've been noticing that quite a few people here have said that symptoms seem to disappear in the reverse order than what the appeared in. I hope that this is true for you as well!

Besides, if you can heal from this after 35 years, I figure I've still got a shot at healing also, since I've played this game for 40 years!! Giggle!

You can! Believe it and it shall be! I am back to the gym every 3 days and will slowly keep adding - I think it does good stuff for my immune system - back to running 10-15 miles/week - a far cry from 35-40 like I did pre-Lyme but I will get there...also doing weight training. I feel out of shape having stayed away from the gym for 5 months! Plus I gained 17 lbs - I plan to have those lost by March 1st! We shall see!

I don't think you're allowed to complain about gaining only 17 lbs!! smilewinkgrin It is the Holiday season you know! Giggle!

My natural practitioner tells me that we always heal from TOP to BOTTOM and from the INSIDE OUT regardless of the order of illnesses.  I don't know but I am hoping she is right as I am having a ton of neuro issues in my head and I have to say that is where I am having healing activity so maybe she is right. 

In the end, as long as it all GOES AWAY I will be happy.   :-)
