Thanks AG.
Traveler - Thanks. Unfortunately the LLMD I was seeing has retired. I was incredibly fortunate to get in and get diagnosed before he did - without which I suspect I really might have struggled and certainly wouldnt have had the support of my GP both from the point of view of prescribing antibiotics and monitoring LFT's etc. I have been referred to another but have to wait until the end of Feb. Its Ok - this takes me to the end of the 3 months 200 mg bid doxy initially prescribed. I'll be glad to get of the doxy, along with its nausiating feeling and photosensitivity. I think the next course is then amoxi 500mg bd, azithro 500mg bd and tinizole 500mg bd for another 3 months.
On detoxing I have been dry skin brushing and having plenty of baths. I hadnt incorporated epsum salts because I was concerned about Mg interacting with doxy, but I just worked out this is an absorption issue in the stomach so no probs I guess. I couldnt find any guidelines for a quantity (g) of epsom salts to be using per average sized bath though. Any ideas?
Lemon water is another thing I can try as well right? I am taking some supplements and milk thistle for liver support (350mg/d)
Any other easy to achieve suggestions?
