I don't know if anyone has a Biomat but I have one and after I use it I am freezing for the rest of the day and am in alot more pain and headachy... Could this be herx???? I use it on the low setting and for only 30 minutes...

Did you ever find an answer? I bought a used biomat off of eBay but am still waiting for it.

I bought the less powerful Jade one instead of the more popular and powerful amethyst one.

I will post my experience when I try it out.

I have heard good thing about them but more of a pain relief tool than herxing.

Wiseguy ~ I asked a massage therapists that uses Biomats with Lymes patients and she said that when you feel like that its a Herx like... that Lyme patients should start out on a low heat setting and for only about 15 minutes at a time and then slowly increase the time and the heat setting ... I did better today on it but I only set it at 113 and was only on it for 15 minutes :) Let me know how you do when you get yours !! It feels really good while your on it :)

I have the old "Jade" model. I did not feel that it was warm at all on the low setting so I jacked it up to the highest setting and stayed on mine for a hour.

It feels like a giant heating pad. I was warm the rest of the day.

I have some herxing but also upped my antibiotics and am fighting yeast so I don't know if the Biomat does anything for me but toasts me up.

I have used it three days in a row on high for an hour. It's very cozy and hard to get off.
