infrared sauna

Does this look like a good one?

I'm thinking of cleaning out the basement and adding one down there. Most of the ones I found online were like $4,000 but this one is much less and it's Hemlock wood, which I thought someone said was good. It has 3 heaters and runs off of a regular outlet. I have read a bit and am not sure if this one has the right heaters to heat evenly.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a single person sauna?

That one is so much cheaper. The two person is a bit too big for my spot, but the one person is just perfect. I really appreciate you posting that link. Was it difficult to assemble? I'm planning on hiring a handyman to do it for me.

I found the energy to spend about 2 hours cleaning the basement this afternoon. My husband was shocked to see me so motivated and focused. I have a ways to go down there, it looks a bit like an episode from Hoarders, but it's already got a nice path way cleared and I have a friend coming over on Sunday to help me out.

I really think this thing will help a lot. I even have a shower down there so I can turn the basement into a bit of a spa. In the past I have enjoyed getting out of the sauna and taking a cold shower. Is this OK for detoxing? I love how invigorating it makes me feel.

I was ready to spend a lot more

Mine came quickly...less than a week!

I know nothing about saunas, but I live in a 2 bedroom condo. It's not very big, about 1200 square feet. Could this be put in a bedroom, or does it need to be hooked directly up to a shower or something? Would it ruin wood floors?

The one I just ordered is for one person, it plugs into a regular outlet. It's about the size of a stand up shower stall.

I really like the one person sauna, is this Infrared?

My sauna is finally built and is doing the first burn in right now. There are heating elements in all 3 of the walls that surround the seat. They are covered with slats of wood, but that wood is less then an inch thick. My question is this
Is it safe to lean against them? if not, then that means you have to sit on the seat and not touch any of the side walls?

They don't address it in the instructions.

It does make sense. I was also getting worried about frying my hair against them. I may wrap it in a towel.

It's so cozy in there. Really hard to just do a short time as I adjust. I want to spend like an hour in there already.
