I post something like this periodically and I truly feel it it paramount to Lyme recovery. I know it is for me and its not all that easy. We must must must address the emotional blocks we each have! .

Good luck all!

Hi yazzer,
Thanks for sharing this. I only went into your post to make the link work.

Wow this is a great great read. I have to say I can relate to almost every angle of this article. It was only upon realizes that I needed to accept the disease and SLOW DOWN and enjoy even the smallest bright spot of every day that I seem to be feeling better. I used to take offense with the "thinking yourself well." It made it seem to me that it was all in my head. But I have learned that the body does in fact heal better when it is more relaxed and peaceful and calm. Instead of being angry at the disease, I kind of went with it. I took longer naps and read more books and fell asleep on the beach. I do have to say that for me it may have been a low dose antidepressants that helped me see things in a new perspective.
Thanks for posting. :)

Thanks. This very much resonates with me, I do feel guilty for not being well and sometimes I think my family could be a little more understanding. I also feel responsible for their happiness go figure.

That was a really good read. I've been focusing on a lot of these things myself lately. I've been taking part of my sauna time to read The Art of Happiness by the Dali Lama, and it's really helped me overall mood and perceptions.
Healing is more then just physically getting rid of the symptoms, to truly heal you have to be engaged mind, body and soul

Thanks, this is great. I have been struggling with not keeping up with my usual performance at work and feeling terribly guilty. Then my husband said - even on a bad day, you probably do better than most people. Stop beating yourself up. This article reinforces that.

good stuff, folks! I have felt like many of you and this article resonated with me similarly. I truly believe this is the "missing link" on the path to healing!

Thanks Yazzer. This is a great article. My wife and I went out to dinner last night...the first time in a LONG time and I actually told her that I was trying to be more positive as of late. I was REALLY down a month ago as the doxy just wasn't cutting it. Now that I've been on Tindamax for a while my symptoms have subsided substantially. Still not out of the woods yet, but I feel I'm getting close. Positive mindset is HUGE!!!
