grapefruit seed?

I was wondering if grapefruit seed extract can be giving while on celexa? wondering because i know your not suppose to drink grapefruit juice while taking xanex.

In the Lyme Diet book Dr McFadzean said that grapefruit seed extract does not have the same effects on meds as the juice does. That being said I still take it about 2 hours before or after my other meds. I've had no issues with it.

I forgot to mention I also went on the nutriobiotic website and they said that their brand of grapefruit seed extract contains less than 0.1% of the compound that causes the interactions with meds so it sounds like it would be fine to take. Hope that helps.
