Since getting lyme's I have notice an intolerance to gluten and dairy. Have other people noticed the same thing?

I have heard people say that eating gluten can make their symptoms worse. But my issue is mainly gas, diarrhea, and pain in my gut.

I wonder... If these anti-biotics I'm taking help to kill the little buggers, then will my body be able to tolerate those foods again?

Also... If I were to get allergy shots for dairy and gluten, would it work or will the lyme keep causing a problem?

Any imput would be great!

Many people infected with tick-borne infections find they no longer can tolerate gluten or dairy products. Some develop Celiac's disease or Crohn's. Please be sure that you don't fit into one of those categories.

It's really hard to tell how badly your systems will be affected by these infections. Some are able to go back to eating gluten and dairy, while others must remain gluten and dairy free. For the dairy, you should see if you can use goat milk. Most all knowledgeable doctors will tell you that goat's milk is easier on the body to digest and that many people who can't tolerate cow's milk do well with goat's milk.

Does any one know... if you kill off the lyme and bart, will you still have an intolerance to foods?

And/or- if I start allergy shots to fix it, will it be fixable while the Lyme is still in me?

I ask, because I'm only 95 lbs and having tons of trouble keeping any weight on. I like to to 106lbs, but I have chronic diarrhea now and the food allergies make it really tough. Doc's are baffled and so am I and my family. Plus I really like food. LOL turn

Chances are good that the food sensitivities will go away during treatment. Of course if it sets off another auto-immune issue (like Celiac Disease), then it could be different.

Have you been tested for Celiac disease? Do you know if you are gluten intolerant?

I don't know. At the time all this started I couldn't afford the tests. It was $3,000 for gluten and dairy. Now I have insurance, so I will ask to get it done. I just know for a fact that I have stomach issues when I eat dairy, eggs, and glutens.

I have had similar problems,while I was taking antibiotics I lost alot of weight and felt very weak.

I started taking Green Vibrance 4 weeks ago and the results have been amazing! nearly no digestive issues now and I am steadily gaining weight.My energy levels are significantly higher, I guess I just feel healthier.

My pains are still there but I can cope with them better because my insides are working. helping me to get rid of the toxins caused by the little Lymie buggers,

The "green stuff" is really worth a try.
