Enjoyed a relaxing week on the coast of Maine even while starting new meds. Scaled back our usual activities to accommodate the achy knees but LOVED the downtime. Felt like if I could stay there for a few weeks I might actually rest enough to heal. (Alas, back to work) Had the best detox bath ever soaking in claw-footed tub, listening to the surf with a view of the bay.

turn   Glad you had a good vacation.. travel wears me out.  UGh..

Dowa - yup bald eagles in Maine. We saw just one so might be a young one without a mate. We have them here in NH too.

Bars - I wish you speedy progress so that you can travel again soon. We spent a lot of time sitting on the front lawn watching the lobster boats & ducks go by, naps in the sun, no TV or internet so to bed early, slow & easy most of the time.

Interesting, I am from NH and have never seen a bald eagle.

Could you tell me what a lyme tincture is? I may have done something similar but did not know anyone on the east coast made them. Thanks~

Sure Dowa - it is an herbal tincture that my LLND (Dr. Clark) out of Wolfeboro makes. Several herbs in an alcohol base.

There are several nesting pairs of eagles in the North Country - Lake Umbagog is a great place to see them. Have also seen them along the Androscoggin River. There are also some that winter in Newington along great bay. We saw one up the road from us at a small lake in Southeastern NH - it was probably just passing through as we saw him just once during the spring.

Very interesting about the eagles and thanks for the tincuture info. I am in Dallas and took what they call an auto-vac of lyme. Made up of lyme antibodies...something I have only seen done out here. Thanks again~

Is that a homeopathic thing? I hope it helps you feel better.

It is called an auto-vaccination. Similar to an allergy antigen, I inject it every 5 days to teach my body to recognize and attack the lyme. I also took one for staph aureas, they seem to work pretty well. Similar to homeopathy but done by injection.
