I was diagnosed by a llmd who said i have lymes but dont have the money to go back.

Now ive been to see 8 gps and they all say my results are not lymes and that these llmds are poison.

And that they just want your money.Im sure i have lymes have all the symptoms all the rashes and my aunt had it.Where i was staying.(after then was when the symptoms came)

Ive been treating myself with any antibiotic i can get my hands on and feel so much better energy wise but neuro symptoms and deep depression still there.

am i delusional because all these gps think i am.This doc i saw today said he researched it and your results are not lymes.

I said ok if you researched it tell me what my bands mean.He wouldn't.Ended up saying i cant treat you please leave my office.

I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this! So many of us go through the same thing and it doesn't get any less frustrating! These doctors simply do not know what they're talking about - you are certainly not delusional!

If you can't find a GP to treat you, you could try going the alternative route - a naturopath, accupuncturist, or herbalist - they tend to be much more open-minded and informed about these infections. There are also various treatments you can do on your own, although it really is very helpful to have a qualified professional guide you along.

I had over 10 Drs. tell me that there was no way I had Lyme and treated me like I was nuts. In the mean time, I was getting sicker and sicker. Honestly, I feel like my LLMD is saving my life. If it wasn't for him, I honestly believe that I would have died. I certainly felt like it! Ditto what borderlyme said-these drs. just don't know what they're talking about. They don't know how to interpret the results and aren't knowledgeable in Lyme. You aren't delusional! You know your body best; you know if something is wrong!

Agreed! Those doc's obviously can't even read the Western Blot results!! You are definitely positive for Lyme.

As Springsjean said, going the natural route might be a good idea for you, as it is often less expensive. Although not without expense - I estimate that I spend about $300 - $400 a month on my doc, my supplements and herbs (my doc is really inexpensive though).

Yes, majikz10, your Western blot indicates you have Lyme disease, or at the very least, an active spirochetal (is that a word?) infection. It has not gone IgG yet and indicates you should get treatment asap if you want to be healed.

I am not a Dr, but can tell you that you need one. If the CDC says you are positive, then you are positive.

Even the most kind and helpful, open GPs may be happy to run a WB for you, but will admit that they do not know how to interpret the results. Sad, because it is quite easy to do w/ very little research. The GP ran mine and then referred me to an LLMD. At least he was that willing to help.

IF a GP is denying a positive CDC result, then he/she is incompetent. Just hurry before you go IgG positive! Usually within a couple of months or so.
