Hi – I am new to this forum but my integrative MD suspects
that I have lyme and would appreciate any feedback on this. I am a 50 yr old
female.
I have been sick for over 20 years. My health really started
to deteriorate after the birth of my second child at age 28. My main symptoms have been chronic fatigue,
fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, constipation, adrenal fatigue, low blood
pressure, low body temperature, heart irregularities, chronic flu-like state,
air hunger, memory loss, difficulty remembering people and events, difficulty
with concentration , sore throat and ear canals, aching teeth, burning mouth,
cold sores, mouth sores, boils, dandruff, white tongue, very dry and brittle
hair, very low sodium/potassium levels per hair analysis, muscle twitching,
parasites(roundworm, tape and fluke) , intestinal pain, bipolar disorder,
alcohol and sugar intolerance. I have been on a disability for the past 8
years.
Five years ago I quit all meds. Four years ago I started
eating a gluten, grain, sugar, dairy
free diet. I also had my amalgam fillings removed and did an intensive bowel
and parasite cleanse. My health improved about 60%. I was able to return to work part time. This
last year I started a Nutritional Balancing program with www.arltma.com and continued eating the Paleo
diet. I would say I am about 80% recovered but still crash badly if I over
excecise or just do to much. Currently I am unable to excercise much. I would
love to work again full time.
I am currently doing another intensive parasite cleanse with
herbs. I have had very intense die-off for the past 4 weeks. During this I
often feel like I am being pricked with a needle from the inside out. I would really like to know what I have so I
can focus my treatment in this direction. The test for lyme is $380 with my doc
here in Canada. He sends it somewhere in the states. I don’t want to get this
test unless I am quite sure I have this. I was bitten a few times as a teen 35
years ago while growing up in Manitoba. I have spent my entire life hiking,
camping(in a tent) and spending lots of time outdoors here in Ontario, Canada.
I would love to learn more about what herbs to try. I am
thinking of just treating myself as I have done mostly in the past. Is Buhner the way to go without testing?
Thanks for any help.
