This happened to me. Though I was firstly negative for lyme which is why the doc said its MS. Now that im positive for lyme I know he was wrong. If you have lyme you do not have ms. A common misdiagnoses.

I would say that MS is probably one of the most common conditions to be diagnosed with by regular doctors in patients with Lyme disease.

I had a doc get really mad at me because I wouldn't accept his diagnosis of MS! I told him that if it ended up in my records, he would regret it too!! LOL!! I knew that I didn't fit that diagnosis, even though I didn't know exactly what really was going on!
The others are right, not only a common misdiagnosis, but one that I'm afraid a lot of people are suffering for.
With that being said, there are of course plenty of people who really do suffer with the terrible disease of MS - but why not get treated for Lyme and see if that's not the issue? Lyme Disease mimics over 300 other diseases.

The length of treatments depends on a lot of factors. No one can tell you how long you will be in treatment. Some of the things that it will depend on is what other infections you may have, and how well you respond to those treatments, what other conditions you may have, any complications that may arise during treatment, just how much of your body is involved in these infections, how well your body detox's, how well you can stick to your treatments and diet restrictions (if any) and much more.
