I know I've mentioned this before about my cat as well but I am nervous about having pets because I'm afraid of getting re-infected or my kids or husband getting infected. I'm trying not to let my anxiety ruin everyone's excitement! Any thoughts on keeping him tick free without having to poison him with chemicals??!

Garlic! It keeps flees off too! I think nutrional yeast as well but I could be up in the night on that one :D

In addition to garlic and brewer's yeast, apple cider vinegar works great if he will eat it on biscuits or a little in some water. Petco also has a completely herbal spot-on product. It smells horrible, but it seems to work pretty well.
