Hi guys it has been a while since I have been on I took a major step back by not following my medication protocol and have been down for a few months. Anyways my question is has anyone ever been diagnosed with Ostearthritis and or Adult Scoliosis? My left leg has been paralyzing every few days anywhere from a few minutes to 8 hrs at a time out of the blue it is like it was never there. So my Dr ordered an x-ray that showed osteoarthritis adult scoliosis and nerve something? I forget so I had a follow up MRI Sunday and am anxious for the results. But, in the back of my mind I am wondering is this Lyme degenerating my joints? If anyone has any experience please let me know I just want to check one or teo things off of my symptom list so I can be a somewhat functional person in society. :))

I know for me, Lyme arthritis has been nothing to laugh at! My fingers and toes were twisting and turning to the sides. With treatment, my toes are almost normal and my fingers aren't nearly as bad.
Is this your LLMD that you are talking about
or another doc? I would suggest that you look carefully into Lyme arthritis before doing much of anything. Some of the damage can be reversed with regular Lyme treatments for some people.

Thanks Traveler,
My regular Dr. is the one that ordered the tests but she is aware of Lyme and sympathetic to it but, is unable to treat because of her practice. I have talked with my LLMD about
it prior to the tests and his theory is that because I had multiple spinal taps in one day that the Lyme attacked my spine.
I do have a great LLMD and am very fortunate for that they practice natural and pharmaceutical at the same time. I have been seeing them for a year and a half, and a LLND for about
6 months before that. I have a PICC line and I am doing azith 5 days a week and invanz 7 along with a huge list of vitamins and supplements. I do ionic foot detox, detoxing baths, fir sauna, yoga as much as I physically can. In reality I should be feeling better than anyone I know. ha ha
What treatments helped you with your Lyme arthritis? I will try anything to help :) Thanks so much for responding and I am glad you have found something that is turning your arthritis around!

Yes, I have osteoarthritis and scoliosis...probably because of Lyme and/or Bart.
I find nettle leaf to be very helpful for the joint pain, and according to Buhner ("Healing Lyme"), nettles can protect the joints from Lyme-induced damage.
