This is my week off all antibiotics including all herbals too. I have my same old symptoms but I am starting to notice an improvement. I have a little more energy and less pain. I am not having any sweats, headaches and overall feeling like things are improving. Is this a good sign to feel good on my off week or should I feel bad like herxing?

Experiences?

I have also been off antibiotics 3 times. While I do feel fantastic at first, most of my Lyme-like symptoms will return within within 2-8 weeks.

Once back on medication, I do get herxs, but these have not been as severe as when I was first diagnosed.

Hi Shadow,

I have been off abx for 13 weeks (much longer than expected due to circumstances) now - my dr said I would feel great. It is not the case for me, but it should have been the case if there weren't complications.
You're experiencing what my dr promissed me :-)

I kind of feel like if I feel good off antibiotics, should I stay off them? But I guess it is like peeling the layers back to get rid of all of this crap. I am not sure what the point is of taking a week break every 3 wks., but I think my LLMD is very knowledgeable so I'm going with it.

My dr was planning to get me back on abx - originally I had to stop for 6 weeks and then go back on them, but meanwhile it has been much longer.

If your LLMD is very knowledgable, I would follow his advice...
