Is there anyone still here who uses Byron white formulas? I need your help.

I was up to 20 drops of A bab for over a month, and than ran out. I didn't get a new bottle for about 3 weeks. When I went back on I started at 15 drops instead of 20. I think I am herxing, but am unsure. Is it possible that if you don't take them for a while, you have to back way down on the dose? I haven't felt this bad Ina while and am scared that I'm going down again!

Yes, after not being on the formula (or any treatment) for that long, it's quite likely that you would have to start off with a lowered dose or even the dose you originally started off on. 3 weeks is enough time for the bacteria to rally.

Does this formula work for you guys? Is it recommended once off of antibiotics or while on antibiotics?

Vcast, you can use our search function to read more threads of those who are using the Byron White formulas. It works for many people, but not all - just like most protocols.

My ND uses the byron white formuls to get the bacterial load down.(or in this case protozoan) When I get to 20 drops for a good couple of months she will then put me on abx.

I'm bummed because I was on 20 drops for almost two months with no problems. Then I went off for 3 weeks and started back up at 15 drops. It just seriously kicked my butt! That's the worst herx I have had in a long time. And it's all neuro for me so I feel completely nuts! Does it seriously revive in my body that quickly? How does one ever get rid of it if it comes back that quickly?

One more little thought to add to this thread... With parasites (and babesia is technically a parasite) my doc has me stagger my treatment... 6 days on, 2-6 days off... This is because parasites can survive treatment by hiding out... So going off treatment means they come out again, and then you hit them again. Maybe this is partly what happened, in which case you inadvertently killed a lot that you might not have otherwise..

Better. Thank you. Still completely wiped out, but better. I had to work through it which made it worse. I know I'm lucky to still be able to function with this, but as many of you know that can be tremendously hard too. My hubby's out of town and I didn't expect to herx like that. The Byron Whites spare me of that to some extent.

Ugh! This neuro crap is terrible...well it all is!

So your doc wants you to take something to kill off the bacteria/protozoa, then once it starts working good, she wants to switch you to something else that may or may not work for you???? May I ask why???

Once I found something that worked with my body to heal me, I stuck with it for 9 months for my Lyme disease and I've never looked back or had issues with it again!

I would highly suggest that you find out!! Herbals and homeopathics work wonderfully on these infections! I've healed without the use of abx, and I've been infected for over 40 years before I started herbal treatments.

If you don't want to use abx, then don't allow anyone to push you into it - not even the docs! There are circumstances where it would be best to be on abx, I'm sure, but without something major happening, I sure wouldn't allow anyone to push me into a treatment I'm uncomfortable with.

Thanks for your advice. I will definitely keep that in mind. Someone just told me about these formulas that aren't homeopathic, but something very similar. It's a German developed thing. Wish I could remember the name of it. I'm wondering of anyone has used them. When my brain stops sputtering and I remember, I will post it.
