Hi all..

Just to give an update to my fellow lyme fighters to give hope.

I've been treating now for 11 months..3 months ABX, 8 months Herbs and supplements via Intergrative doc. I am getting better and living a normal life now.

Diagnosed with pos Lyme and Babesia Duncani and Microti, CPN and mycoplasma.

When I jumped onto these forums last year I was so sick I believed I was dying and had lost hope. EVERYTHING I read was depressing and scary. I could not believe this was happening to me.

With a positive mind (which has been hard...seizures, hallucinations etc) I nurtured myself, meditated and BELIEVED i would recover.

I'm not 100% yet...but close :-)

Sending hope and strength...I will forever raise awareness for this ugly Dis~ease

Lady jade- thank you for posting this. I've never been so sad or in such despair. I think my symptoms are neurologically based. I'm so scared and don't want to leave my apartment. Why is this disease so difficult? Why am I unable to cope like others? I'm begging someone for some encouraging words... I feel desperate. This is not who I am-- i'm usually bursting with positive energy/love to everyone. By the way I'm a month into abx treatment after being sick since October 2012. When can I expect to feel better?

Everyone's recovery is different, and sometimes there are set backs that throw us for a loop. It seems like it took about 6 months for me to start feeling better...and over a year plus to get to mostly "good" days instead of bad ones. Patience and finding the right LLMD and right medications is the key whether ABX or Herbs.

The neurological symptoms for me were the worst too those litter critters told me I was dying ...it was very dark at times...but with the right medications those thoughts went away and my mood improved. At one point I thought I would never experience joy again but it did come back. Hang in there!

I did not leave my home too. Avoided taking calls...I became trapped in my own skin.

I am a health professional, my pre-Lyme life consisted of motivating and inspiring my clients to better themselves. I was the go-to gal for help, hope and positivity. Lyme..temporarily took that all away from me.

No one that has not experienced this illness would ever understand the ugliness this does to a person inside and out.

It's a full time job fighting this illness. Those that don't put themselves first will not get better. LYME FIGHTERS NEED TO BE SELFISH. I learned that very important lesson.

My full time job is now is building my home (body) to its optimum :-)

Stay strong it's a hard road to travel but it's worth the fight......

Let us know how you progress, especially when you come off the antibiotics. I also responded very well to drugs, but know im deathly afraid of coming off of them.

I will let everyone know. Once I reach remission.

I'm on minimal antimicrobial herbs at the moment. But currently on high dose vitamins. Last year I had almost every symptom on the Master symptoms list and bed bound.

Now..only slight anxiety eye floaters , my symptoms fell away one by one.

I will never stop treatment...i will continue building my body for the rest of my life. Even if symptom free. I will never allow these bugs to come out and play ever again. I won't accept a relapse.

I hope everyone reaches remission, rather than leave this forum without offering hope when I needed it...would be criminal!

Lady Jade!!!!! I'm sooooooo happy for you and a big thank you for sharing with us!!!!! I'm with you! There are things I've learned that I won't ever stop like detoxing, supplementation, yoga, meditation and as you said building up my temple so I won't ever have to deal with this again!

You gave me more hope tonight! Blessings to you!

Heathersdad~I admire what you have done for your daughter. I am extremely interested in visiting Hansa too.

My first 3 months I was on doxy 200-400mg...I felt like death and became so toxic. Then added rifampin for a month until i had elevated liver enzymes. Dr recommended Cowden Protocol I did the 6 months..now I'm pulsing Samento and Banderol. I have Babesia Duncani I pulsed Artemisa annua for four months.
I am feeling better but not 100%. I'm having more good days..maybe 1 bad day a week.

Still a long way to go..building my body back up! But happy to be 'out of the woods' no pun intended. ;-)
