I have just found out I have to move back to Indiana where my Nightmare began!
I have a great health system here in MI. I really am terrifiied to start this process again and be made to feel crazy and stupid. I am at stage 3 and have many nuerological symptoms. My thought processes are a mess. I need to find a primary care doc that is not going to chastise me or second guess my med. records. I emotionally physically, mentally can not do it again. I have Ins. I am waiting on disability and this move could not come at a worse time. financially I have no choice.
Can anyone inbox me with a lead? I really cant get someone to drive me back here to see my doc. I cant drive anymore . Thank you and God Bless

Welcome to our little community! Have you had a chance to read through our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread yet? I know that you aren't "new" to Lyme, but there may be info in there that you don't already know about!

I can imagine just how scary this must be for you and I'm so so sorry! I've edited your post only to put in the title that you need a LLMD in Indiana - that way people will know what you need. It would be best if you would enable your email address so that members can send you suggestions of doc's, as we don't allow doc's names and contact info to be posted here. Mostly it's to protect the few docs that are willing to treat us according to ILADS standards.

You can enable your email (or choose a new email address) from 'edit your profile'. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click "submit" to ensure that your choices have been saved.

If you could tell us a little bit about yourself - your story if you will - it could help us know how to best help you, besides helping you to find a new LLMD.

I see a wonderful LLMD in Indianapolis. She is outstanding! From what I understand, she's not accepting new patients right now, but I do know that her office staff is referring people to 1 of 2 Nurse Practitioners in Indiana when they call in. Also, they may be able to give you some info. on good PCPs that believe in lyme disease. I'll send you an e-mail with the info.
