My baby is happy and seemingly healthy at nearly 8 months old ... I get consumed in the fear he has lyme though

I had lyme in my pregnancy with him as I was in knowingly bitten by a tick when I was 11 weeks gone .. I tested positive when I was 29 weeks pregnant and then took 1500 mg amoxicillin daily every day for my entire third trimester ...

I've posted before so sorry about that just every now and then I get consumed by fear and this is my place to come

The one thing I've learned about babies that young is their immune system is still building. Some babies are born HIV positive and then after time are negative or they are born without HIV at all (just using an example). Have you asked the pediatrician? They might want you to wait until your baby is one.

I know its hard. I pray on whether or not I should get my son tested. Just pray on it and if its truly bothering you then get the test.

It can be transmitted to the fetus; that's all I know. If it were me, I would take my son to an LLMD pediatrician, just to be sure. I would be encouraged by what Wryter said, but it wouldn't hurt to get him tested.

Correct, Yogi. Spirochetes (Lyme bacteria) have been found in breast milk too.
