Hi, could you send me the pics too please? I'm dealing with rashes on "Tom" which started out intermitent and now seem to be constant.
He gets small red dots. Sometimes bumps, sometimes smooth. Anywhere from 1/4 inch to 7/16 across. Torso mostly , legs becoming more common. Not on arms, face, neck, or feet. From 7-8 to 20+.
He has added a fine bumpy rash to the back of the neck at the nape now too. Is came and went a couple days ago. Usually the rashes don't itch. When one does itch I think it may be a bug bite. The rest don't seem like it.
I have used calamine and crushed wet benadryl topically when they do itch. Allergist said his aren't hives and don't seem allergic.
It doesn't sound like your rash is the same - it sounds much more dramatic. A paste of cornstarch can help to dry out some rashes. Fresh aloe from the leaf is great for many skin things (feels good to me, but hurts Tom.) Straight garlic juice might sting, but it kills many nasty things.
Those ideas aren't attempting to address the source, but they might help the symptom.
Although, since Bb can be cultured from the Bull'seye rash, maybe garlic could get a shot at something coming up to the surface!
I just put a thin slice on my skin held with a bandaid to attack a mole which had changed and the mole peeled off after 3 days! Shocked me! (new slice each day.) It didn't harm the rest of my skin, but it stung a little where the mole was rough. So, it's an odd thought, but may be worth the time to read it?
