Sida acuta, herx pattern or just a reaction?

Hi,
So last week I started sida Acuta tincture (as per Buhner's Bart/babs protocol). I take 10 drops in am, 3 in afternoon and 10 drops in evening- way less than the 1/4 tspx3 day he recommends. I didn't notice anything the first three days, but by the third day I had a herx (not intolerable, but definitely a herx). The strange thing is since then I've noticed a symptom 'intensifying' pattern. For example I take my ten drops in am, a few hours later my symptoms (mostly neuro) begin to intensify, peek in intensity about five hours after the dosage then subside, I then feel better than I have in months in the small pocket of time until the next dosage begins to amp up my symptoms.
I'm so confused, I am feeling better than I have in months in those pockets of time between dosages and in the morning, but I'm also worried that I'm have a reaction to the herbs. I don't want to stop the sida as I feel better, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Also, I feel some pain in my eyes, ears and headache (where my symptoms stem from), so I'm really hoping that its killing the buggers in those areas. I'm trying to detox as much as I can, its also helping that I'm up and about way more so things are moving.

Since your symptoms are continuing to ease up, I would say that you are only herxing from the dose - BUT - Buhner has his own site and I would suggest that you go there and ask your question there to be safe.

Oh you're kidding!! Dang!! That's not good!

I would have to say that as you get further along with your treatment you should stop feeling those increasing symptoms in between the doses though. At least that's the way it worked for me. Once I could tolerate the dose, I would feel just a bit worse a couple to a few hours later as well. Although always keep a keen eye out for any symptoms of an allergic reaction too!! Better safe than sorry.
