Hi gang,
I've been absent for a while. Feeling a bit more fatigue these days.
Question for you all though.... I started coffee enemas 2x/week a couple months ago and I think they've been helping. This week, I decided to step it up a bit and did one coffee enema per day (Monday through Saturday). By Wednesday, I noticed that I felt kind of itchy on my scalp and forehead. So, I took a couple Benadryl and the itch went away after a couple hours. This also happened Thursday, Friday, and again today.... except that today, my forehead and scalp are noticeably more blotchy and I do have a couple of subtle red hives on the outside corner of my left eye. Just took a couple Benadryl again.
I've read a lot about how coffee enemas are supposed to "relieve" a herx reaction. But, I'm wondering, since they ring out one's liver and gall bladder, is it possible that a coffee enema can actually contribute to a herx reaction?????
This itching makes me wonder if the CE's aren't stirring up more toxins than my body is currently capable of getting rid of. Would a warm water enema do anything to clean out my GI tract and relieve the itchy skin?????
I think I may go back to 2x/week coffee enemas for a while.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
