Hi All! I have not been on here in quite a while. Saw that a couple of people asked for an update, so here it is! Blessings and hellos to everyone!!

Background: 46 year old single woman, with no kids. (divorced). Ill for 17 years with CFS symptoms. First visit to Hansa in Oct. of 2012, after being diagnosed with Lyme 3 years previous and treated by two holistic ND's. Have been back twice for follow-ups. Going back for a third follow-up at the end of this month.


Current update: I am doing well in many ways and in other ways still healing. The best thing is that about 70 percent of the time I no longer think about being sick! It is just not in my awareness, the symptoms are much less and I am going on with my life in ways I did not before.

I would say I average at 70 percent well most of the time. Lots of ups and downs..fatigue and nausea and head fog come and go but less often and less severe.



Heart palpitations: 99 percent gone for the past 9 months! This was frequent before.

Fatigue: better. Better exercise stamina. Still not optimal, though. I can now ride a bike for 20-40 minutes (moderately) a day and it feels like it used to when I was "healthy"...instead of feeling like I am maxing every bit of energy.

Head fog: much better! Clearer thinking more consistently.

Celebration: I created and taught a 2 week kids' garden camp! It was awesome. For 6 kids. I felt like crap, too! had a lyme flare..fatigue, nausea, etc. But I could do it anyway. This is new. Previously I don't think I could have done it.

I am now planning more children's camps in my free time. ( I work for myself ). This is new for me to have the energy to do so.

So, in a nutshell. I am still on quite a few remedies, still on bio-available thyroid and cortisol, still doing FIR saunas, etc. But it is no longer the majority of my life.

I moved into a kind of sustainable co-housing situation in my town a few months ago. I love it! We are in a beautiful big cabin on 1/2 acre in town. Loads of gardening, fruit trees, and a creek. three cats, a dog and 4 adults.

I know people read these looking for info in deciding what kinds of treatment to pursue. I certainly did when investigating Hansa. It has been totally worth it for me.

I likely won't post much on this forum.

However, DO contact me via email it I can be of help to you..answer questions or give input on lifestyle, diet, supplements etc. I have been at this for a loong time! Happy to play it forward.

YAY NAN!!!!! So happy for you! I envisioned that cabin and the scenary and what I imagined sounded great! So glad you're active! Before you know it you will be 100%! I believe it and the mental piece is so important. The fact that you go day to day and don't think about being sick means a lot!
