Hello all,
I have been in treatment for Lyme and co's for over a year and a half. I've been doing the herbal route using Byron White Remedies. And at this point I have only been dealing with the coinfections. I have babesia, anaplasma, candida and chlamydia pneumonia. During that time I have not had any seasonal cold stuff...no fever either. I was beginning to think that as a Lyme patient, I didn't get those kinds of illnesses, like our immune systems just don't deal with them.
So wouldn't you know that now that I have been visiting family for the past 3 weeks, I now have bronchitis. I've been sick for over 4 days, fever and all. I went to the doc today and she gave me a z pak. This will be the first antibiotic I've taken in many, many years.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this. I do NOT want to take this and begin herxing. I was told to take 2 tablets today and then 1 pill for the next 4 days. I'm scared I'm going to start herxing and then have to fly back home like that. Can anyone give any feedback on how this is prescribed to Lyme patients. If I take one, instead of 2, am I screwing myself? I don't know what to think here!
