does anyoen have/know of anylong term studies on ''riffing''[ whcih is the use a a coiling macine, maning electricity in certain voltage use] doug rife invented a coiling machine[ he was not the only one] long time ago, i am hearing more about people''coiling'' or lyme......but being an R>N> i would like to see if there are any long term users around, if what/any negative respones there may be. i have lyme disease 27 years and ran the whole stroy,cfids, fibro, copd, arthritis... severly ill long time. appreciae any feedback.eye

I haven't heard of any "long term studies" done, but it is a type of Rife machine. My husband used it a few times for ALS/lYME. Since we weren't sure at the time that he had Lyme, we were using various frequencies to see if it had any effect on his condition. We couldn't tell at that point if it was the Doug Coil or other Rife machines that were keeping his ALS symptoms from progressing. Unlike other people, we get to use it at no cost, even though we like to give a nominal donation to the healing center. They are extremely expensive so buying one would be a difficult move for most people. Otherwise if you have access to using one, I would recommend giving it a try. Personally, I wouldn't try using it without someone knowledgeable running the programs.

The Doug coil machine is the only one I've decided against, because I think it would be too powerful for my daughter. I do read about a lot of people being helped by the coil, though. The GB4000 is another one used by several patients too, but it's spendy. Just research it to figure out what would be best for you.

I just started using the EMEM. Bryan Rosner's book "when antibiotics fail, lyme and rife machines" is a great read about rifing. There is a lyme_and_rife on yahoo forum (most use Doug Coil), a couple facebook pages Rifing Lyme (most use GB4000). Great info. I've read a lot of positive outcomes for people using rife, including a book I'm reading by a doctor in California. The EMEM has a long track record and cost is reasonable $580, Doug Coil longest track record & stronger for lyme from what they say, $2000, GB4000 w/mopa easy & good success but $2500 or so. Hear GB w/mopa as powerful as Doug Coil. The forum moderate for Rifing Lyme on FB rifed 19 months & is symptom free. I'm still learning & just started but I have high hopes. Happy healing!

Peggster, I wish you could go to the healing center. You would like the variety of Rife machines they have there. My husband, Toby, uses the Doug Coil when someone is available to run it for him. They also have what they call a "light bed" that he used a lot when he first started going. They have about a dozen different types along with an ionic foot bath for detoxing. There is a Mopa too. It is run by donation only.
