Hi Tarajean and welcome!
So sorry you are not feeling well. Have you read the sticky thread on top of this forum called "New to Lyme? Start Here!" as it contains valuable information.
I believe if you learn about detoxing and start incorporating a detox regime daily it will eliminate many of your symptoms.
When I was sick with chronic lyme I remember my bones hurt bad, my legs really hurt so the point where I was crying (and I'm not a cryer as I have a high tolerance for pain). I knew nothing about detox baths back then until I joined a forum (not this one) and people were talking about detoxing which I thought was nuts. It didn't make sense to me back then but then I said to myself "what to I have to lose by trying it?"... Well, I attribute detoxing to my getting totally well.
Most people that I personally know that have become well and stayed well like myself did not use antibiotics, they used alternative medicine but thats a choice every person has to make.
As I always say, if your current protocol is not making you feel better then perhaps it's time to become your own advocate and start reading books, articles, etc. and find what protocol will work for you. You simply may be allergic to antibiotics (most people are and they don't even know it in my opinion).
Diet also plays a HUGE role in this disease, most people are allergic to gluten, lyme spirochetes and sugar do not get along, etc. Lyme taught me how to eat healthy as well as so many other things.
I wish you the best,
Denise
