Can lyme get better on it's on?

Please, please don't do that!!!! You will relapse, it's almost a guarantee! It may not be right away, but at some point in time, you will be under just the right amount of stress and it will suddenly all start happening again, only this time it will get worse quickly.

I've been on this forum for almost 7 years now and have seen a handful of people try this and all of them have come back worse than they ever were.

You really have to take this seriously, or it will get very serious - ask anyone who has lived through chronic Lyme that wasn't treated for a while.

It's natural to feel worse when you start an effective treatment, that's the bacteria dying off and the toxins that it leaves behind are building up instead of being flushed out. This is why we encourage all of the members here to detox, detox, detox!! It will help keep those toxins levels down!!!

This won't "just go away", you have to stay in treatment and be sure to take that medicine the way it's prescribed, or you will only get worse. Really.

HallieMae, Lyme symptoms come and go in cycles. I also found out recently in this forum that a full moon worsens the symptoms. I keep a log of my daily symptoms and have noticed that some of my symptoms get worse every few weeks.

Antibiotics take a while to work. Mine took three weeks before I started to see a difference. For some people it happens sooner, others later.

Please get into the habit of taking your medicine. As you start to treat the infection, you will probably add to your regimen. Some people here are taking upwards of 27 pills/herbs/tinctures a day to combat the infection. Lyme will not go away on its own. Wish it did
