My girlfriend came up with a great idea for a daily happy thoughts journal. All you do is start a journal. Every day write down one thing that was good or made you happy. Even on your worst days you can think of at least one thing. It might be something simple like drinking a healthy smoothie or telling someone you love them.
When you're feeling down, you can look back at all the happy memories you have. This has helped me so much. A huge part of getting better is focusing on the positive.
Thanks for reading, have a happy day!! :)

Good idea!. Sometimes you are so immersed into figuring out Lyme that you forget that good things happen in life even while sick.
You have a smart girlfriend. You should take her out to dinner for coming up with the idea

Joeyphoenix...thats a great idea. We are so burdened physically and mentally with this illness it is easy to dismiss the good in our lives...however small it may be. I'm still trying to consistently journal my symptoms, but it wouldn't be a bad way to finish the page...with a happy thought :)
And yes I agree with Healing...you GF is very smart and thoughtful so a dinner or home cooked meal is in order :)

That is a good idea. I agree with Healing98 about
taking your girlfriend out to dinner.
I post OT things here once in a while to get peoples minds off their suffering for a short time. It's so easy to get consumed by it, so it's good to have a diversion once in a while.
