Increased joint cracking with herx?

Hi Everyone,

Let me start by saying that this forum had been a light in the dark for me--thanks to all of you who have replied.

Well, here we go:

Since starting Azith, I have more muscle twitching (mostly in one leg and sometimes everywhere), vibrating in that leg, and now, ALL MY JOINTS HAVE STARTED CRACKING! It used to only be my neck, but within the last couple of weeks it has spread fast all over: back shoulders wrists, knees and even in jaw when I chew.

I dont wanna panic that I have ALS or something! Has anyone ever bad an INCREASE in cracking when you begin a new antibiotic?

If so, do you know why that is happening?

I just ordered epsom salt, so I will try that. I read somewhere, in an older thread, that as the bacteria die, the inflammation in the joints actually goes down, leaving nitrogen in the joints, and causing cracking.

Am I the only one who experiences increased cracking when a treatment starts working? I have cracking joints where I never had them previously!

So strange....
