Chapelle, I am so glad you got the testing done and have the peace of mind from that. Onward to recovery!

And I am off to look at PANDAS/PANS--the one thing I do remember about it is that it blocks effective treatment, and that's where we're at, so I am off to do my homework.

This board is absolutely a lifesaver in so many ways. Thank you all once again!

thank you! I had my other kids and my husband tested too. you never know - we go hiking and are outdoors all of the time. fingers crossed it's just the two of us!

Agree to look into PANDAS (PANS). My daughter has lyme, bart, and pandas. She had obvious handwriting issues during one of her flares as a child (b4 I knew about the lyme and thought we were just dealing with pandas "strep"). I kept her school writing journal as a reminder. It happened mid-year, so you can really see the difference. With treatment, it has gotten much better.

I'm really, really sorry all - BUT we really need to start a new thread on this subject! With 4 pages, this one is getting much too long.

I would suggest that you put a link at the end of this thread so that others can get to the new one easily.

I would also suggest that whoever is the first to post in the new thread, that you put a link to this thread as well - that way the two will be permanently linked together.

I know this is a long thread, but I am bumping it up along with part #2 bc there are quite a few people on here who have kids with lyme at this point. There is ALOT of info on these threads. part 2 to follow now......
