Detoxigenomics may not still be around. It is a partial gene test which looks at certain key detoxifying enzymes and whether you have a mutation in any of them.
I recently got the 23andme genetics test, and I just downloaded the raw data to a program on mthfrsupport dot com. For $20, it printed out all my risky mutations.
There are a lot! I don't know how many others have, though. I think I will price a consultation, they have a couple of doctors on there you can contact. I don't know anything about
this stuff, need help.
Have you heard of 23andme? It was $99 when I got it. It also tells you things about
ancestry. They used to tell you some genetic risk factors, but the FDA put the kibosh on that. But they do give you access to your raw data, and hundreds of SNP's (single nucleotide polymorphisms) that are connected to various problems.
It's really useful if you suspect you have trouble that isn't explained by the doctors. For example, I have 3 SNP's on the SOD2 enzyme. That's a really important enzyme that is needed after energy is produced in the mitochondria. It changes the hydroxyl radical (very inflammatory) into something harmless. So my body has a tendency to inflammation.
Stuff like that. Sorry I'm not more help
