Hi peabody04
I have considerable experience with mHBOT...and became well from severe NeuroLyme and coinfections (I had been homebound for over 5 years) by treating myself at home with a mild, portable hyperbaric chamber.
There are many variables to consider, including pressure, consistency, duration of use, etc., but it is a treatment that gave me back my life, when nothing else could. It is also crucial, in my opinion, to include a gut/nerve healing diet, and graded exercise.
In my opinion and experience, one of the biggest factors to consider is the length of treatment. Although other neurological conditions can sometimes be treated in 40-80 dives, It takes much longer than 40 dives to "heal" from Lyme. Because it is so cost prohibitive to do extended treatments in a clinical setting, you might consider a home chamber to continue after your initial treatments. Many people quit too soon.
I have started a "network" of sorts, to help people obtain information, find chambers, discounts, cooperative users to share costs, etc. (I take no compensation). I also have a website currently under construction, and should be ready soon.
In the meantime, I am more than happy to answer any questions you might have. You can also search my other posts on the subject on this forum...
A great resource to learn more about how hyperbaric works in the body is a book called "The Oxygen Revolution", by Dr. Paul Harch. He also has a website: HBOT.com. He has been researching HBOT for over 20 years, and includes case studies, as well as very compelling before and after SPECT scans...
