trying to understand

I have now been diagnosed with babesia. I'm trying to understand the symptoms that go with this bugger. The I'm not sure why. It is what it is. I can't change that. I know it will get better, just like it did with the lyme. I'm just frustrated.

I'm starting to feel very withdrawn again. I hate the numbing all over my body. I hate the headache, yes one long constant headache (no I take that back, it was gone for a few hours yesterday) I hate the floating on a boat feeling. I hate the air hunger and the drastic temp changes in my body. I hate being tired all the time. Yep, I'm frustrated....and somewhat afraid, mostly that the monster brain will return. As much as I hate all the physical things my body is going through, the mental aspect literally terrifies me.

My hubby tells me not to live in the land of "what ifs". And I get that. I'm doing my best, but it does sit there in the back on my pounding head. He keeps telling me we got through it all before, we'll get through it again....if needed. I just really, really, really, don't want to go back there. Sigh.

Thanks for letting me vent. It's tough to be on the computer as lyme did a number to the vision in my left eye, but having your support is invaluable.((((HUGS))))

thanks so much. You're response made me smile...and laugh. I had the mind set that once the lyme was gone that was it. I was all done, so this kinda threw me. What you said makes sense. And I LOVED the way you put it.

I'll keep doing what I know to do. My hubby is great....so is this forum. Haven't tried the ice cream.
