Bladder Irritation on Antibiotics

I have been on a variety of antibiotics for 4 months. I take a probiotic and also try to drink lemon water...I have never had bladder issues before Lyme's disease and the use of antibiotics. I'm wondering if the antibiotics are irritating? I wouldn't think it was an infection while I am on antibiotics. Thanks in advance.

i have bladder irritation at times (comes and goes) i think i've read it's s symptom of a co-infection?!?!

Are you treating Bartonella? It could be a Bart herx or maybe the Lyme.

what type of irritation? I had cystitis from lyme (bladder hurt and I was going to the bathroom 18 times a day!). I didn't know it was lyme at the time, and it went away when I went on a sugarless diet and took D-Mannose

i get that too Cahpelle. It comes and goes , but there are days i'm urinating every 10 mins. And i will have lots of pressure eon bladder.

Gosh. Sorry to hear. Like I said it went away for me and never came back after I treated it with the dmannose and cut back sugar. But when the cystitis went away that's when all of the numbness and pain started! My lyme history was so by the book even down to a cyclic pattern.

Hmm not too familiar with this one :(. Make sure your kidney values are okay. I know parsley is really good for the kidneys but I'm not sure about the bladder.

If you are taking high doses or vitamin C that can be irritating to the bladder/kidneys so I usually recommend a buffered kind.

Yes, Bart herx for sure. This happens to me when I'm on Rifampin especially.

Thank you...one of the antibiotics I am on is Rafampin. The information here is so appreciated.
