It is better to take the antibiotics apart from each other, I've found. Rifampin is much better handled by itself. And try different kinds of food to take with them until you find the right cushion. For example, I find one drug is better with carbs and the other only is held down by fat.
Another thing that can help is spreading the doses out farther within the 24 hour time period, ie. 2 doses a day, take 12 hours apart, 3 doses, 8 hours apart. I had to set an alarm to take medicines in the night, but it made a big difference in being able to tolerate them.
I also have found that sitting down for 15 to 30 minutes after I've taken the medicine really helps. Some drugs say to stay upright, but I've found that isn't enough, any jostling can make for a whole day of nausea.
