Rifampin, Azithromycin and Plaquenil Regimen Question

Hi All,

What do you guys think of Rifampin, Azithromycin, and Plaquenil as a regimen for early treatment? I got a tick bite couple weeks ago, started antibiotics 5 days after bite. Doctor put me on Doxy, Azithromycin, Plaquenil, but I was developing paresthesia from the doxy on my hands after sun exposure, so he replaced it with Rifampin.

I have no idea if I have co-infections. Assuming I don't, is my current regimen effective against just borrelia? What I'm reading says that Rifampin is more for co-infections. Also, how long would you guys suggest I continue with treatment. Pretty sure I haven't had any symptoms. I'm thinking 6.5 weeks.

That's the cocktail that I'm on. I was switched from Bactrim to Rifampin just recently. And I have to say it's working beautifully.

I don't have many side effects, if any at all from the combo.
