I called Igenex last week to find out when my results would be in. To give me information over the phone, I was asked my birthdate. The Igenex employee said it didn't match to what they had. They had Feb. 1979 (can't remember the day she said - just month/year) This is not even close to my birthdate (I wish!!)
So I had to send Igenex an email stating my birthdate.
To add to all this - soon after my phone call to Igenex, my phone rang and it was the ND receptionist - when I answered the phone, She called me by a different name. I said, "no, this is -------" then she proceded to say she called the wrong person in error. Just a coincidence that she called shortly after I spoke to Igenex? And what's with not knowing who she was calling?
So, now I'm concerned - where did they get the wrong birthdate? Did my ND have two samples to send to Igenex that day - could there perhaps be a mix-up in the samples?
I have lost confidence to say the least. I am going to call the ND office today and see what's up. At least I have a good excuse now for not wanting to keep the appt.next week and asking for the results to be faxed to the ND here in my city.
