Just wondering when herxing happen for you while on antibiotics .

I have not had what I think others describe as herxing but I have felt more sick some days.

I usually herx every time I change up antibiotics. Sometimes it's so bad I can't get out of bed for a day, other times i just feel kind of crummy. I think the hardest part is never knowing when it may hit.
The good news the longer I'm in treatment the less intense and shorter the herx's seem.

I don't know, I still can't tell if I'm herxing, getting worse or majorly symptomatic, I just feel crap and scared all the time.

Girlie I am on day 24 of the Cowden Protocol. My headache eases but it never goes away, constant tremors etc etc.

Aw, that's too bad. But, remember the herbal route can take awhile.

How long have you had symptoms?

I just added a new antibiotic to my protocol. I think I am herxing bc every muscle in my body hurts and is stiff and all my other symptoms seem worse. Not sure if it is a symptom of the new meds or herxing... but it sucks and is scary.... my eyes feel swollen and weird too.

I started herxing 3 days after I started the doxycycline, and pretty much herxed for weeks. It didnt stop until I plataued, and then my Dr added zithromax, and i started herxing again, but mildly and less often. Then she switched me from doxy to bactrim, and i herxed a few times and now very rarely. are you herxing at all?

Thank you to all of you who responded with suggestions and support. I will try to detox more.... and hope that this is just the feeling worse before feeling better senerio :) Hope you all continue to feel better! It is just nice to have a few people who understand.... so hard to explain to others so they "get it."
