Will I ever get better from Chronic Lyme?

Dx'd 1988 w/ M.S. & Lupus. Dx'd 2012 w/ Chronic Lyme. In wheelchair. Tired of not getting better. Do you have any treatment ideas or protocols to treat Chronic Lyme? Tired of being sick.

Glad you found us!

Are you being treated for the Lyme? Some of the treatments for Lyme and Lupus can make the Lyme disease much worse. And Lyme can trigger MS and Lupus. So if you would like to get better, treating the Lyme above all else.

Yes, chronic Lyme can get better!! I went for 3 years without Lyme & Bartonella symptoms and 2 years without Babesia & other tick-borne infection symptoms until I got reinfected just a few months ago.

I had Lyme, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis and others beginning at age 7. I started my first successful treatment at age 47 and when I was done, I had no active symptoms - and I did it with only herbs.

It's all about finding out what all is going wrong in the body, balancing it and finding treatments that are strong enough to deal with the infections, yet not so strong as to completely overwhelm the body with toxins. It's a very careful balancing act, but it can be done!!!

Thank-you for your replies! I have 2 wonderful Lyme doctors. Will write more later. Tonight I'm filling out papers for an upcoming operation! Love papers! NOT!

Traveler, I am so sorry to hear that you have been re-infected!!!!! Did you get bit by another tick?? How are you feeling??

Yes, I have had 3 ticks attach in the last year because I won't quit living the life I wish to. I use protection when I go out to do yard work and that, but I picked up the tick that infected me while in town, believe it or not!! Symptoms started returning, but I thought I was being paranoid, so I ignored them - silly me!!

I had some of the herbs I used to heal my Lyme infection still, so I went on them, and had great results in just the 2 weeks that I was on them - but I had more month than money, so I ran out of herbs and only just reordered them. Let me tell you - I am soooooo looking forward to getting back on those herbs!! LOL!

So while I was on my treatments, I was doing just fine - but now - UGH. I feel pretty much like warmed over poo with all the Lyme symptoms starting to really come on now. Just a few more days until my herbs begin arriving though!!!

Don't mind me if you can hear me repeat - I can do this, I can do this, I can do this!!

Have been asking myself the same question today.... So sorry to hear about your reinfection Traveler! :((. I hope the herbs will fight it off quickly! I'm dying to try what you took but it seems like so much work and sooo many herbs to get. It makes my head spin. I wish there was a way to purchase a pre-prepared Chronic Tonic! I would pay the extra money to buy it!

I'm praying we will all get better! Trying to stay hopeful....

Traveler, if anybody can heal themselves, it would be you!! yeah Many prayers being sent your way for those herbs to kick in quickly!!!

Inspiredby3, you might want to check with a local herbalist and/or Misty Meadows to see if they would be willing to provide you with the herbal mix! They don't need to know much about the infections if they will mix the herbs properly for you.

And thank you for your words of encouragement, Lymerunner!!! :-) Some days I don't feel so strong, which is why I'm on and off the forum so much lately. When I can, I'm here though!! And I'm sure that once I get all the darned herbs delivered, and I'm back on my herbs, I'll do well once again!
