I itch. There's no rash or redness, it's on my scalp, arms, and torso primarily. It's much worse at night and I rarely notice it during the day. Anyone else? Is it Lyme or a coinfection? It's not dry skin or a change in soap or anything easy to figure out like that, at least that I can tell.

Same here. It was one of my early symptoms when I started treatment in 2010. My first LLMD said it was from Plaquenil I was taking. The itching has returned over the past few months and will discuss it with my LLMD next visit in two weeks. I am currently on Plaquenil again.

Why are you on the Plaquenil? Is it for an autoimmune issue or babesia?
I am on no meds yet so it definitely isn't that. It happened last January but went away after a month. Now it's been going strong since June.

I used to be itchy on my chest but it seems to have gotten better. I wasn't on treatment at the time so I'm pretty positive it was Lyme or one of the co's. I wouldn't be surprised if it came back at some point because I still get random itchy rashes and tiny itchy bumps from time to time.

Plaquenil helps make cells more alkaline so ABX works better, and some claim its a mild cyst buster. I've been taking it with Mino and Rifampin to hit bart, and recently stopped the Rif as I plan to wean off all ABX and transition to 100% herbs for maintenance.

I itched really bad before treatment, my husband used to say I needed to go to the doctor it was so bad.

Then after treatment my shins itched so bad that I scratched them raw at times, think maybe sun and ANX had an effect. Now it is cleared up.

Now I feel like something is crawling on me.

Keep in mind it could also be Candida. My skin itches like crazy and it seems to coincide with my Candida flareups. My LLMD can visibly see the yeast/Candida problems on my skin and even warns me from time to time.

Vcast I wondered about Candida, but other than sugar cravings, I don't really have other symptoms like bloating or vaginal yeast infections. I'll definitely ask my LLMD about it though.

I used to have really itchy skin. It has gone away with treatment.

I sometimes get a really "prickly" itch. It seems to be getting better with treatment. I still get itchy sometimes but nothing like I used to. I think it might be related to Babesia but I could be wrong on that one.
